Luiz Gustavo Leite Oliveira

Luiz Gustavo Leite Oliveira serves as the Diretor de Serviços Industriais at Vale since October 2019, also holding the role of Operations, Environmental, Safety, PSM (HSE), and Sustainability Executive. Prior to this, Luiz gained extensive experience at The Dow Chemical Company from January 2009 to May 2023, where responsibilities included Global Improvement Leader for Environmental Safety and Sustainability, along with various managerial roles focusing on emergency services and regulatory affairs. Luiz began a notable career at Rohm and Haas, dedicating nine years to Operations, Environmental, Safety, and PSM. Academic credentials include an MBA in Environmental and Sustainability from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a Safety Engineering degree from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
