Robert Mallett

Robert Mallett is a seasoned mining engineering professional with extensive experience at Vale since August 2017, currently serving as Chief Mine Design Engineer and previously as Integrated Operations Superintendent and Divisional Mining Engineering Supervisor. Prior tenure at Vale from November 2011 to May 2016 included roles as Mines Strategy Engineer, Shaft Supervisor, and Mining Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed developing business cases, supervising shaft operations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Robert holds a Master's degree in Mineral Resources from Laurentian University, a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Dalhousie University, and a diploma in Engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island.
