Stuart Weinberg

Stuart Weinberg is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and stakeholder relations. Currently serving as a Communications Advisor in Corporate Affairs at Vale since April 2022, previous roles include Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Communications at Baffinland Iron Mines and Director of Corporate Communications at Yamana Gold Inc. Stuart has also held the position of Senior Manager of Communications at Barrick Gold Corporation, where responsibilities included leading communications strategies during a period of significant organizational transformation. Early career highlights include a tenure at The Wall Street Journal, where coverage focused on the Canadian technology sector and various other industries. Stuart holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Education from York University.
