Walter Pinheiro

Walter Pinheiro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in maritime and port operations, currently serving as Diretor de operações at Vale since March 2001, responsible for the operations of the Terminal Marítimo de Ponta da Madeira. Throughout a distinguished career at Vale, Walter has held multiple leadership roles, including Gerente de Operação de Portos, Gerente Executivo dos Portos Sul, and various managerial positions focused on port operations, maintenance, and cargo handling. Walter's prior experience includes working as a Cervejeiro at Ambev, where responsibilities included coordinating production activities and leading industrial improvement projects. Walter holds multiple MBAs from Fundação Dom Cabral and FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, as well as a post-graduate degree in Food Technology and Brewing Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain and a degree in Industrial Chemistry from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
