Hadrien Mary

Team Lead, Computational Design at Valence Discovery

Hadrien Mary has a diverse work experience in various research and development roles. Starting in 2010, Hadrien worked at CBiB, where they were responsible for the development of a graphical user interface (GUI) for MetaboFlux and coordination between the development team and the customer. In the same year, they also worked at LaBRI, where they developed a multi-agent system for metabolism simulation.

In 2011, Hadrien had an internship at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience in Australia, where they worked on high-throughput image segmentation and statistical analysis. Hadrien also contributed to mammalian kidney branching morphogenesis modeling.

From 2012 to 2015, Hadrien pursued a PhD in Cell Biology and Biophysics at CNRS, focusing on the understanding of chromosome dynamics during mitosis in yeast. Hadrien'swork involved wet lab experiments, imaging techniques, and physical data-based modeling.

Following their PhD, Hadrien worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University from 2016 to 2020, where they continued their research in a laboratory setting.

Most recently, Hadrien joined Valence Discovery in 2019. Hadrien started as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and progressed to the role of Machine Learning Engineer. Currently, they serve as the Team Lead for Computational Design.

Hadrien Mary received a Bachelor's degree in Biology of Organisms from Université de Bordeaux in 2009. In 2011, they completed their Master's degree in Computational Biology from the same university. Hadrien then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell biology and Biophysics at the University of Toulouse, which they completed in 2015. Prior to their studies in Bordeaux and Toulouse, Hadrien attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology.
