Sébastien Giguère

Co-Founder at Valence Discovery

Sébastien Giguère co-founded Valence Discovery in 2018 and is currently serving as a Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist at Imagia Canexia Health from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institut de recherche en immunologie et en cancérologie (IRIC), where they conducted research in Mike Tyers' laboratory focusing on systems biology and synthetic biology. During this time, they worked on projects involving high-throughput assays, machine learning algorithms, and the identification of protein-protein interactions and novel inhibitors. Between 2012 and 2016, Sébastien Giguère also served as a Scientific Reviewer for various peer-reviewed publications.

Sébastien Giguère obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Machine learning / Computational Biology from Université Laval. Sébastien completed their studies at the University from 2011 to 2014.
