Dr. Andel Fils-Aime

Dr. Andel Fils-Aime serves as the Assistant Vice President and Dean of Holistic Support at Valencia College, overseeing a budget of $14.2 million and providing leadership across seven campuses. With prior roles as Dean of Counseling, Advising, and Holistic Student Support, and Dean of Students at West Campus, Dr. Fils-Aime has extensive experience in managing substantial budgets and staff, guiding counseling teams, and overseeing student conduct processes. Previous positions include Director of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity at The University of Texas at Austin, where responsibilities included managing a budget, overseeing investigations, and collaborating with various departments on policy modifications. Dr. Fils-Aime's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Florida State University.
