Jon Taylor

Jon Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in student support and healthcare services. Currently serving as a Student Success Coach at Valencia College since August 2016, Jon provides personalized coaching to students in the arts, humanities, communication, and design fields, focusing on holistic advising. Previous roles at Valencia involve advising for the Seneff Honors College and supporting the Dean in the Social Sciences Department. Prior to joining Valencia College, Jon was a Medical Case Manager at Florida Health, developing care plans for clients with HIV/AIDS, and contributed to quality improvement initiatives as a member of the Quality Management Committee. Jon also has experience in financial administration and patient advocacy through roles at Hope & Help, Inc. Jon holds a BA in French Language and Literature from North Carolina State University and two master's degrees: an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
