Keith Johnston

Keith Johnston, CPLC, serves as an Adjunct Professor at Valencia College since December 2019 and has extensive experience in the performing arts, both as an educator and practitioner. With a career spanning several decades, Keith has been self-employed as an actor and musician since June 1985, participating in various creative projects across plays, films, television, and radio. Previous roles include Theatre Teacher at Douglas Anderson School of The Arts, Director and Educational Theatre Specialist at CUNY Creative Arts Team, and Artistic Director at American Theatre of Harlem, where Keith oversaw acting workshops and theatrical productions. Notable contributions also include work as Composer, Music Director, and Performer at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and Stage Director/Dramaturge for BET. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from New York University, Graphic Design and Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, and an Associate's Degree from Kingsborough Community College.
