Sonia Pasqual

Sonia Pasqual serves as a Tenured Professor in the Live Entertainment Design and Production program at Valencia College since August 2001, where roles also include Advisor for the program's club and various leadership positions such as Program Chair. Notable projects include co-producing and designing lighting for the immersive Haunted Attraction at the Florida Museum of Cursed Artifacts, and designing lighting for productions like Shakespeare's Hamlet and Charlotte's Web. Sonia has also contributed as a workshop facilitator for multiple initiatives aimed at high school students, teaching skills in makeup effects, lighting, and stagecraft. Educational credentials include a Master of Liberal Studies in Theatre Literature, History, and Criticism from Rollins College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & Visual Arts from Fordham University. Additional experience includes directorial roles at Beth Marshall Presents and Orlando Ballet, as well as technical positions with IATSE and various local theatres.
