Owen Eustice has extensive experience as a software engineer, with their work history spanning several companies starting from their computer programmer role with the US Air Force in 1995. Owen worked with SAIC in developing web-based software for the USAFE Intelligence Systems team, where they substantially contributed towards establishing new functional standards in intelligence assessment. At General Dynamics Information Technology, they developed web applications in aid of Operation Iraqi Freedom while at Polaris Alpha, they served in multiple roles including Director of Field Engineering, Deputy Director, Field Services Architect, and Analytics Architect. Owen'sprofessional accomplishments include participating in the design and development of natural language processing, entity extraction, and advanced analytic software for Polaris Alpha, which incorporated several open source and commercial components, and ensuring that the software and systems developed by the Field Services directorate met the needs of the end customer. Before their current position as a Software Engineer at Valencor, Owen worked at Parsons Corporation as a Senior Technical Director, where they oversaw the implementation of a directorate-wide application of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) that increased productivity by more than 40% and decreased time-to-market by more than 30%.
Owen Eustice earned an AS degree in Computer Science from the Community College of the Air Force between the years 1996-1999. Owen then pursued their BS degree in Information Technology from the American InterContinental University from 2006-2008. Owen also obtained three certifications, namely Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist, Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner, and Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2021.
