VLSI Design Engineer at Valens Semiconductor

Ruben Cohen began their work experience in 2012 as an Infantry Soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, where they served until 2014. In 2021, they joined Valens as a VLSI Design Engineer. In this role, Ruben is responsible for microarchitecture, RTL implementation, and documentation of various blocks, including programming model definitions. Ruben also performs full flow design in Verilog, Lint, CDC, verification support using Cadence Simvision, and integration.

Ruben Cohen completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, attending from 2016 until 2020. Before that, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2011 and 2012, though no specific degree was provided for this period. Prior to that, Ruben attended Lycée International des Pontonniers from 2006 to 2011 and Lycée Français de Barcelone from 1999 to 2006, but no specific degrees were mentioned for these phases of their education.
