Matthieu Varnier is a functional and software architect specializing in applied robotics, autonomous vehicles, and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). With extensive experience at Stellantis, where they served as an architect for the Decision pole in ADAS development, Matthieu has contributed to the creation of functional architectures and the structuring of development methodologies. Their previous roles include leading a team at Akka Technologies on the Link & Go 2.0 autonomous vehicle project, as well as working on complex robotic systems in aerospace and military applications. Currently, Matthieu is an architect in the Innovation department at Valeo, focusing on functional and software architecture for vehicle applications. They hold a Master's degree in Research in Mechanics and Systems Engineering and are pursuing a doctorate in Automation.
