Timo Brandt

Timo Brandt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in embedded Real-Time Software Architecture, particularly in multi-sensor and multi-core automotive radar networks, focusing on functional safety and cybersecurity. Since joining Valeo in 1999, Timo has held various leadership roles, including Software & System Validation Manager for the Driving Software Products and Services product line and Valeo Expert for Real-Time Software Architecture. Timo has successfully led software teams and architectural efforts across multiple radar projects, including 77/79 GHz and 24 GHz systems. Prior experience at ITT Automotive Europe GmbH & Co. KG involved advancing digitalization in projects related to radar and sensor technologies. Timo holds a Dipl. Ing. (FH) in Applied Sciences for Physics and IT from Hochschule Heilbronn.
