Brad McDonald

Brad McDonald has extensive experience in global compensation strategies, currently serving as Vice President of Global Compensation at Valero Energy Corporation since July 2007. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing enterprise-wide compensation programs, executive compensation, and talent management. Previous positions include Executive Director of Global Compensation and other roles at Halliburton from October 2002 to July 2007, focused on employment and organizational development, as well as recruitment. Earlier experience includes recruitment roles at Dynegy, Inc., Korn/Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles, and Motorola Semiconductor. Brad McDonald holds both a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
