David Baggs

David Baggs has extensive experience in the energy and chemical industries, currently serving as the Rotating Equipment Reliability Manager at Valero Energy Corporation since January 1999. In this role, David oversees a team that includes machinists, mechanics, engineers, and subject matter experts, focusing on vibration analysis and reciprocating compressor analysis. Prior to this position, David held the role of Maintenance Manager at ISP and at The Dow Chemical Company, as well as serving as Senior Project Engineer at TRI-SEN Systems Corporation. David began a career in mechanical engineering with Texaco. Educationally, David acquired an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Lamar University, along with prior studies at the same institution and at the College of the Mainland.
