Edgar Resendez

Edgar Resendez currently serves as the Lead OS Infrastructure Specialist at Valero Energy Inc., a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Edgar held various positions including Network Engineer IV at Vericast, Senior Enterprise Security Engineer at Frost Bank, and several titles within Rackspace, focusing on network security and content delivery for enterprise and corporate customers. Edgar's experience includes significant responsibilities in design and implementation of network infrastructures involving Cisco technologies and security protocols. Additionally, Edgar worked as a Systems Analyst for the Texas Department of Transportation, providing tier III support and maintaining security policies, and started career as a System Support Technician with the City of Austin, delivering IT support during emergency situations. Edgar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
