Justin Thompson

Justin Thompson, CISA, CRMA, CDPSE, has extensive experience in internal audit and IT audit, currently serving as Director of Internal Audit at Valero Energy Corporation since October 2005. Prior roles at Valero include Senior Manager of IT Audit, Manager of IT Audit, Lead IT Control Specialist, IT Audit Specialist, and IT Auditor. Prior to Valero, Justin worked as a Senior IT Assurance Consultant at EY from June 2003 to October 2005. Justin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems Security from St. Mary's University, obtained between 2006 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the same institution, earned in 2003.
