Kent Oubre

Kent Oubre has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in control systems and reliability. Since 2004, Kent Oubre has served as the Control Systems Engineering Manager at Valero Energy Corporation, after holding the position of Staff Engineer. Prior to this role, Kent Oubre worked at Shell, starting in December 1986 as a Senior Reliability Engineer and previously served as a Senior Engineer at Shell/Motiva Enterprises LLC from 1987 to 2004. Kent Oubre also has a background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, having worked as an E&I Engineer at Texaco from 1987 to 1989 and at Walk, Haydel & Associates from 1984 to 1987. Kent Oubre earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University from 1980 to 1984.
