Stephen Russell

Stephen Russell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in automation and process control within the chemical engineering sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Automation & Process Control at Valero Energy Corporation since June 2007, Stephen has honed expertise in process optimization and systems integration. Prior to this role, Stephen held the position of Process Control Leader at DuPont from 1997 to 2007, contributing to advancements in the nylon, fluoroproducts, and electronics sectors. Stephen Russell earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, where studies spanned from 1989 to 1997.
