Project Manager/ Senior Structural Engineer at Valhalla Engineering Group

Craig Ellingson has over 25 years of experience in the engineering field. Craig began their career in 1994 as a Project Engineer at SSFM International, where they designed the seismic retrofit of 8 large concrete bridges for the County of Hawaii and 3 Interstate bridges on Oahu. In 1999, they moved to NOEI as a Project Engineer, where they performed inspection and load rating analysis for Interstate, State, and County bridges. In 2001, they became a Project Engineer/Manager at Wilson Okamoto Corporation, directing teams of consultants for the US Navy. In 2004, they moved to CJWA as a Project Engineer, where they engineered and designed projects such as a new shopping complex with 12 new buildings and structures, a community church, and Navy Housing Community Centers. In 2005, they became an Engineering Manager at JCI, managing and mentoring 6 engineers and designers. In 2007, they became a Project Engineer at Vector Structural Engineers, where they marketed the company to new clients and updated and certified company spreadsheets and standards. In 2010, they joined URS Corporation, An AECOM Company, as a Senior Structural Engineer, where they reviewed and commented on all structural drawings for a $1.5 billion Data Center at Camp Williams. In 2011, they became a Structural/Civil Department Manager at KBR, Inc., creating a new engineering workflow to improve communication across discipline boundaries. In 2015, they moved to Precision Systems Engineering, Inc. as an Innovation and Design Manager, where they were responsible for modernizing and improving the performance of over 50 designers and engineers. Finally, in 2017, they joined Valhalla Engineering Group, LLC as a Project Manager/Senior Structural Engineer.

Craig Ellingson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University.
