David Eyre, P.E. has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. David is currently serving as the Sr. Plan and Program Manager at Valhalla Engineering Group, LLC since February 2019. Prior to this, they had a longstanding affiliation with the Army Engineer Association as a Life Member since August 1989. David has also held various positions within the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) organization, including serving as the District Commander for District 10, VFW Department of Colorado from May 2019 to May 2021, and as the Post Commander for VFW Post 4666 from June 2016 to May 2021. David has contributed to the Office of Management, Veterans Benefits Administration as the Director, Office of Acquisition from October 2017 to January 2019. David's experience also includes being the Capital Asset Manager at VISN-19 from October 2015 to October 2017. David held leadership roles within the VFW organization, such as Sr Vice Commander and District Commander for District 10, Dept of Colorado, VFW from May 2013 to March 2016, and Jr. Vice Commander, District 10 for VFW District 10, Department of Colorado from April 2012 to May 2013. David started their career as a General Engineer in the Veterans Health Administration and served in the VISN-19 from May 2008 to October 2015. David was also the Commander at Parker VFW Post 4266 from September 2005 to January 2014.

David Eyre, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Idaho between 1978 and 1983. David further pursued higher education in the field of Advanced Military Studies, earning a Graduate degree from the Army Command and General Staff College from 1996 to 1998.
