Waseem Ghozayel

Waseem Ghozayel is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and application security. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Hafeus Tech since February 2024, Waseem has also held the role of Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Valia since March 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Application Security Specialist at Digital Boundary Group from May 2016 to September 2021 and as a Software Engineer at Phoenix Interactive Design Inc. from September 2014 to January 2016, where Waseem developed innovative enterprise software solutions for Canada’s largest bank. Waseem began the career as a Web Developer at MariCann Inc., where swift promotion from laborer to site supervisor demonstrated strong leadership capabilities. Waseem holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Western University, earned between 2011 and 2016.
