Jacob Mattson

Jacob Mattson, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Assistant Controller at Valiant Residential since April 2024. Previously, Jacob held the position of Assistant Controller at BBG Inc. from May 2022 to April 2024 and worked at PwC as an Assurance Associate from October 2020 to May 2022, focusing on audits in the real estate and oil and gas sectors. Additionally, Jacob interned in tax at PwC in the summer of 2019. Jacob's leadership skills were demonstrated as External Vice President of Kappa Sigma Fraternity from November 2017 to January 2019, managing recruitment and pledgeship. Earlier experience includes managing Dove Waterpark for the City of Grapevine, overseeing a staff of over 75, and various roles at the City of Grapevine, including lifeguard and cashier. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a Minor in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University.
