David Portnoy

David Portnoy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David is currently serving as the CTO of Validate Health, a position they have held since August 2017. Prior to this, David founded Demand-Driven Open Data (DDOD) in 2014, a company aimed at maximizing the value of open data assets. David also worked as the CTO of Datalytx, Inc. from November 2008 to August 2017, where they focused on helping companies grow their analytics capabilities and develop data-driven products using specialized agile methods. David's tenure at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence from October 2014 to June 2016 allowed him to build the DDOD technology platform and methodology. Before these ventures, they held roles as the VP of Delivery at Aginity LLC from June 2007 to November 2008, and as a Lead Technical Architect and Team Leader at AT&T Enterprise Services from October 2000 to June 2007.

David Portnoy holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Washington University in St. Louis, specifically from the Olin School of Business. David also has completed PMP (Project Management Professional) Training from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering, also from Washington University in St. Louis.
