Hamid Noroozi is a Senior DevOps Engineer at Validio. Prior to joining Validio, Hamid was a DevOps Engineer at Trustly, responsible for architecting the next-gen platform for Trustly services based on a hybrid solution of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and on-premises. Hamid has also worked as a DevOps Engineer at iZettle, where they were part of the team responsible for the infrastructure on AWS where iZettle services were being developed/tested/run.

Before their work in DevOps, Hamid was a Linux Administrator and Security Consultant at Free/Open Source Software Users Community (Operated by Sharif University of Technology). During their time there, they were responsible for the security of the community's servers and providing support to users.

Hamid has a wealth of experience in DevOps and cloud technologies, and has used a variety of tools throughout their career, including Terraform, Ansible, GKE, Kubespray, Istio, Github Actions, Python, and more.

Hamid Noroozi has a Master's Degree in Computer Security from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Network Security from Linnaeus University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. Hamid also has certification from Novell Technical Training, Provo, Utah, United States in Data Center Technical Specialist, Novell Certified Linux Administrator (Novell CLA), and SUSE Technical Specialist. In addition, they have certification from Linux Professional Institute, New Brunswick, Canada in Certified Linux Trainer and LPI Certified Level One (LPIC 101 - LPIC 102).
