Don Amos

Don Amos has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Don is currently the Director of Operations at Validus Energy since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Well Intervention Manager at Validus Energy from May 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Validus Energy, Don worked as the Produced Water Manager at Felix Water from November 2018 to May 2021. Don also served as the Well Services Manager at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from July 2015 to November 2018. Earlier in their career, Don held roles such as Operations Engineer at Quantum Resources Management, LLC from January 2014 to July 2015, and Completions/Workover Engineer at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from December 2010 to January 2014. Don has also worked as a Prod Engineer at Walter Oil & Gas Corporation from July 2008 to December 2010, Prod/Completions Engineer GOM Shelf at Apache Corporation from February 2007 to July 2008, and Production Engineer at Anadarko Petroleum from May 2005 to February 2007. Don's earliest work experience was as a Cement Supervisor/Field Specialist at SLB from January 2000 to July 2003.

Don Amos has a diverse education history. In 1997, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they earned a diploma in Petroleum & Natural Gas Technology. Don furthered their education in 2003 at Montana Technological University, where they obtained a BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering. Lastly, in 2020, Don enrolled at the University of Denver to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
