Bruce Ng

Applications Engineer at Valin Corporation

Bruce Ng has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bruce started their career as a Cadet in the Cal Poly Army ROTC from 2008 to 2012. Bruce then volunteered at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they worked as a Volunteer at the American Red Cross from January 2013 to March 2013, where they provided IT and logistical support.

From 2013 to 2015, Bruce served as a Platoon Leader in the 374th Engineering Company (Sapper) of the US Army Reserve. Bruce then became a Company Commander in the 350th Engineer Company (MAC) from 2015 to 2017, where they developed training calendars and guided junior leader development.

From September 2017 to February 2018, Bruce worked as an Assistant S2 - Battalion Staff Intelligence Officer for the 315th Engineer Battalion, where they spearheaded preparations for tactical section movement and coordinated section equipment and supply requests.

Bruce then joined Pacific Technical Products from April 2014 to May 2019 as a Sr. Applications Engineer. In this role, they provided technical support for various product lines and developed demonstration equipment for sales teams. Bruce gained experience in motion control, vision systems, robotics, and industrial networking.

From March 2018 to February 2020, Bruce served as a Company Commander in the HHC, 315th Engineer Battalion. Bruce generated training plans for the battalion headquarters and coordinated efforts to train soldiers. Bruce also served in different capacities during annual training.

Most recently, Bruce has been working as an Applications Engineer at Valin Corporation since May 2019.

Bruce Ng attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2007 to 2012. Bruce obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
