Cory Calderon

Cory Calderon has a strong background in sales, business development, and organizational development. Cory is currently the Vice President of Sales at Valin Corporation, where they focus on enhancing business performance through organizational design, employee accountability, and process improvement. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Organizational Development at Valin Corporation, where they worked on talent management issues such as workforce planning, recruitment, and training. Before joining Valin Corporation, Calderon worked as a Strategic Business Development Manager, where they planned and implemented sales and marketing strategies for the filtration product group portfolio. Cory also served as a Technical Specialist Process Heat and Automation at Valin Corporation, where they provided industrial solutions to a variety of clients. Calderon's work experience also includes roles at Community Environmental Council, University of California, Santa Barbara, and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Cory Calderon has a diverse education background. In 2006, they attended Georgetown University where they studied International Relations and obtained a degree in Public Policy. Following this, from 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology at UC Santa Barbara. In 2014, Cory enrolled at Texas A&M University and completed a Master's Degree in Industrial Distribution within the College of Engineering.

Cory also holds a number of additional certifications. In October 2017, they obtained the Caliper Foundation & Master Level Certification from Caliper, as well as the Storyline 360 Intermediate & Advanced Level Certification from Articulate. Earlier, in February 2016, they obtained the ATD Needs Assessment Certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Their most recent certification is the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) which they attained in February 2020. Additionally, Cory has the Everything DiSC Workplace® Certification - Classroom pending, without specifying the date of completion or the institution from which they are obtaining it.
