Walter H. Moos

Walter H. Moos is the Managing Director and co-founder of Pandect Bioventures, a role they have held since 2018, after co-founding the firm to support early-stage biotech and pharma therapeutics. Previously, they were an advisor, CEO, and Chairman emeritus at ShangPharma Innovation, guiding the group’s innovation ecosystem until 2023. Moos also served as President of SRI Biosciences until 2016, where they contributed over a decade to transformative biomedical research. An adjunct Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at UCSF since 1992, Moos holds a PhD from UC Berkeley and an AB from Harvard, with a prolific history of contributions across various scientific and advisory roles in the biotech industry.
