Pete Nilsen

Pete Nilsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in military and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Valkyrie Enterprises since November 2020, Pete has held various significant positions including Executive Officer at EWTGLANT and Commanding Officer of the USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG 58). Previous roles also include Chief of Staff at Commander Carrier Strike Group Two and ACOS N-3 at Navy Air and Missile Defense Command. Nilsen’s naval career features commanding and executive roles on the USS COLE (DDG 67) and other US Navy assignments. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management from Troy University in Montgomery and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
