Richard has held various positions in different companies, showcasing their expertise in administrative services, project control, technical writing, teaching, consulting, customer service management, telecommunications, and staffing. Some notable roles include Assistant Vice President at Valkyrie Enterprises, where they managed vendor contracts and served as the company's Corporate Facility Security Officer, and Adjunct Instructor of English at Old Dominion University, where they developed and implemented curricula for literature and composition courses. Additionally, Richard had their own consulting business called Sloan Consulting, focusing on telecom/IT, project management, and strategic planning.
