Currently serving as an Associate Engineer at Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District since August 2022, Bill Ash previously held positions including Sr. Civil Engineer at JMA Civil, Inc., where responsibilities included leading and supervising engineering staff and managing site campus developments. Bill Ash's career also features roles such as Associate Civil Engineer for the City of Napa, where project management for water treatment and distribution systems was a focus, and experience in residential and industrial development projects at Creegan + D'Angelo and JMA Civil, respectively. Bill Ash began their engineering career with internships at the City of Vacaville and the Bureau of Reclamation after earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.

MISSION Our mission is to make Vallejo a healthy place to live and work. We do this by keeping the city's wastewater and stormwater free from pollution. We employ around 90 people who work in the following areas: wastewater treatment, maintenance (mechanics, IT and electricians), field operations, environmental services, safety and risk, finance, engineering, and administration. We manage Vallejo's treatment plant and more than 40 pump stations, and maintain hundreds of miles of sewer and stormwater pipes.
