Do you have the time to look after your property?

There are some important points to note.

Your flat must be kept in shipshape condition – clean, well maintained, lines all clean and fresh, all appliances working. You need to find trusted cleaners, a laundry, maintenance people, arrange airport pickups and drop off, personal welcomes or keyless entry, welcome packets, information packs, kitchen essential supplies, deal with special requests or sleeping arrangements – the list goes on.

It has to be tastefully decorated - something best reserved for a professional as your personal tastes may not be what the market is looking for. (for example I like orange – but orange walls would not be conducive to a relaxed vacation!) You may need to refurbish your existing long let to convert it to a short let (No, not the same thing!).
