Carlos Jerez

Carlos Jerez serves as the Lead Pastor at Valley Bible Church since May 2019, following a period as Church Planter and Lead Pastor at First Family Church Bondurant from July 2013 to April 2019. Prior to their pastoral roles, Carlos Jerez gained experience in the lighting industry, holding positions as Branch Manager at Voss Lighting-Des Moines from July 2010 to July 2013 and as Outside Sales at Voss Lighting from November 2007 to June 2010. Carlos Jerez also has a background in church planting, having served at Southwest Bible Church Mission from January 2006 to January 2007 and as a Pastoral Resident at Byron Center Bible Church from July 2004 to December 2006. Educationally, Carlos Jerez holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Bible/Biblical Studies from The Master's Seminary (2001-2004) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Bible/Biblical Studies from The Master's University (1998-2000).
