Parinaz Banks

Parinaz Banks is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal at Valley Charter Schools since July 2025. Previous roles include Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Language & Literacy, and Director of Educational Technology at PUC Schools from October 2020 to July 2025, as well as ELA School Support Manager at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools from July 2019 to October 2020. Parinaz Banks has also held the position of Assistant Principal at Kipp Heartwood Academy from August 2016 to July 2019 and worked at KIPP Austin Public Schools in various roles, including 7th Grade Level Co-Chair and Regional Course Leader, ELA. Additional early career experiences include serving as a Founding English Language Arts Teacher with The New Teacher Project and working as a Course Leader and 6th Grade English Language Arts Teacher with Teach For America. Parinaz Banks holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
