Christina Costello

Christina Costello has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education sectors. Christina started their career at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where they served as a Clinical Education Supervisor from April 1999 to March 2008. During this time, they oversaw the daily operations of the clinical education department and developed assessment tools and policy manuals for the university and clinical sites.

In 2008, Christina joined Valley Children's Healthcare, where they held multiple roles. From April 2008 to February 2013, they worked as an Accreditation Coordinator, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and developing assessment tools. Christina also managed the patient tracer program.

In February 2013, Christina took on the role of Manager, Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing the organization's operations to meet standards set by regulatory bodies such as The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and the California Department of Public Health. Christina also managed accreditation surveys, inspections, and audits.

Finally, in October 2016, Christina became the Director of Organizational Project Management at Valley Children's Healthcare. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing organizational projects, defining project objectives, and serving as a single point of contact for these efforts. Christina also contributed to strategic and operational planning for hospital-wide projects.

Christina Costello earned a Master's Degree in Student Services from Temple University in 1988-1989. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at DeSales University from 1984-1988. In addition, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2021.
