Alissa Wehrman

Alissa Wehrman is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician III at Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care since April 2024. With a diverse background in perinatal services and substance use treatment, Alissa has held various positions, including Board Member at Open Arms Perinatal Services and PPW Co-occurring Clinician at New Traditions. Previous experience includes an Advanced MSW internship at Swedish Hospital, focused on perinatal clinical social work, and participation in multiple MSW internships addressing maternal mortality and youth shelter services. An accomplished birth doula and postpartum doula, Alissa has supported hundreds of families and has been recognized with the 2018 Libin Egal Spirit Award for outstanding leadership in community-based doula services. Alissa's educational achievements include an MSW from the University of Washington and advanced training in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling.
