Xerxes Shelley

Xerxes Shelley is an experienced electrical professional with extensive expertise as an instructor and journeyman electrician. Currently serving as an instructor at the Puget Sound Electrical Joint Apprentice Training Committee since September 2018, Xerxes develops lesson plans and prepares electrical apprentices for their first jobs. As a journeyman electrician at Valley Electric Company since December 2018, key contributions include working on the newly constructed four-story parking garage at Expedia Headquarters while also serving as a secondary steward on-site. Previous roles include significant projects with Holmes Electrical, where installation and planning of mechanical and electrical systems were carried out, and participation in a union-backed contest representing PSEJATC at Fluke Corporation. Xerxes Shelley has also gained foundational experience as an electrical apprentice through various companies, culminating in certifications as a forklift and aerial work platform instructor. Education includes credentials from IBEW Local 46 and PSE JATC.
