Darron Shanks

Darron Shanks is an experienced recovery specialist currently working at Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital since July 2015, where the role focuses on assisting individuals in need of recovery. Additionally, Darron holds the title of Certified Recovery Specialist, promoting meaningful engagement in treatment and long-term recovery through peer connection and ethical self-disclosure. Previous positions include mental health worker at Novant Health since December 2012 and at Eagleville Hospital from January 2015 to July 2015, where Darron also served as a CNA. Darron Shanks earned an Associate's degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Montgomery County Community College between 2015 and 2020.
