Mark Nantz

Mark Nantz has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and finance sectors. Mark began their career at KPMG as a Supervising Senior Accountant from 1987 to 1991. Mark then joined Carolinas HealthCare System, where they held roles as Vice President of Finance from 1991 to 2001 and later as a leader at Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast from 2001 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Bon Secours Health System and worked in various roles until 2018 when they transitioned to Bon Secours Mercy Health. Most recently, in 2020, they became the President and Chief Executive Officer at Valley Health.

Mark Nantz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business from 1983 to 1987. Mark also earned a Master's degree in Health Administration from Pfeiffer University from 2002 to 2003. Mark has additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) and as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
