Valerie Wells

Valerie Wells began their work experience in 2002 at Lester and Mowery's Pharmacy, where they started as a Pharmacy Technician and later became a Pharmacy Intern. Valerie then worked as a Pharmacist at the same company from July 2012 to October 2020. In 2012, Valerie joined Family Pharmacy as a Pharmacist until June 2014. Currently, they are working at Valley Health, where they started as a Pharmacist in January 2014 and became the Lead Pharmacist in May 2021.

Valerie Wells received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in American Government and Politics from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Valerie then went on to pursue their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at the University of Charleston, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Valerie has also obtained additional certifications including the Pharmacists & Patient-Centered Diabetes Care Certificate from the APhA Foundation in 2018, and the Medication Therapy Management and Pharmacy-based Immunization Delivery certifications from the American Pharmacists Association in 2011.
