Ashwin George M.D.

Ashwin George MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the medical field. Ashwin has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Valley Medical and Wellness since May 2014 and at Elegant Medical Solutions since October 2013. Ashwin was the Medical Director of Addiction Service at Transformation House from July 2015 to May 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Treatment Advocate & Speaker at Indivior from January 2016 to January 2017. Prior to these roles, Ashwin worked at HealthPartners as a Senior Hospitalist, Palliative Care & Peri-op Consultant from July 2007 to July 2016. Ashwin has also served as a Scientific Advisory Committee Member at Insys Therapeutics, Inc. from January 2014 to December 2014.

Ashwin George MD, MBA has a diverse education history. Ashwin completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute from 1994 to 2000. Ashwin then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Wichita State University from 2001 to 2003. Ashwin continued their medical training with a surgical internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2003 to 2004. Later, they obtained a degree in Internal Medicine from Seton Hall University from 2004 to 2007. In 2016, Ashwin George pursued an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and completed it in 2018. In terms of certifications, they obtained Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 2007, followed by Board Certification in Hospice & Palliative Care in 2013, and Board Certification in Addiction Medicine in 2017.
