Melissa Rector

Melissa Rector has a diverse work experience history. Melissa began their career as a General Manager at Hose & Rubber Products, where they managed daily operations and achieved annual sales of $1 million. Melissa then worked as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Rector Equipment Rentals, handling invoices, customer communication, and payment consolidation. Melissa also served as a Program Coordinator at East County YMCA, supervising staff and contributing to the growth of the children and camp program. Melissa later became an Intervention Teacher at La Mesa / Spring Valley School District, providing small group instruction and maintaining classroom management standards. Melissa then held the position of Regional Program Director at East County YMCA of San Diego County, overseeing 17 branches and a staff of 500 employees. Most recently, they worked as an Operations Director at Valley of the Sun YMCA, responsible for the development and management of a $1 million budget. Melissa currently holds the role of Quality Manager at Aerospace Contacts LLC.

Melissa Rector obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from San Diego State University, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Melissa then pursued further education at Chapman University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.
