Andrea Holden has extensive experience in higher education and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of the Senior Companion Program & Planning at Valley Opportunity Council since November 2021. Previous roles include Director of Alumni Relations at the College of Our Lady of the Elms, Student Engagement Specialist at Community College of Rhode Island, Director of Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership, and Assistant Director of Student Life at Wheaton College Massachusetts. Additional experience includes positions in student activities coordination and residential life at multiple institutions, along with a background in client services at Global Experience Specialists. Andrea Holden holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Worcester State University.

Valley Opportunity Council (VOC) offers over 30 programs in a wide variety of areas, including food and nutrition, energy assistance, education and child care, youth and adult programs and community outreach. They are one of 23 Community Action Agencies in Massachusetts.
