Boyd Long

Boyd Long has extensive experience in the security and law enforcement field. Boyd started their career in 1985 as an Assistant Chief of Police at the City of San Diego and held this position for 28 years until 2013. In 2013, they joined Valley View Casino & Hotel as the Vice President of Security, where they were responsible for various areas including security, safety, risk management, valet transportation, players club promotions, and PBX.

Boyd Long pursued their education in the field of Criminal Justice and Corrections. Boyd attended National University from 2006 to 2008 and obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree. During their time at National University, they focused on Criminal Justice and Corrections. In 2007, Boyd Long also attended the FBI National Academy Session #230 and successfully completed the program, earning the title of Academy Graduate. This program specialized in Executive Criminal Justice.
