Brad Locke

Brad Locke has been the CFO at Valley Wide Cooperative since August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Crop Protection at Simplot Grower Solutions from January 2019 to August 2020. In that role, they led procurement of $600 million in crop protection products annually and maximized $150 million of rebate programs. Brad also optimized working capital items such as inventory protection, price protection and terms, built strategic relationships with key suppliers, and collaborated with cross-function teams in the areas of sustainability, procurement, agronomic needs, product development, and marketing. From August 2016 to January 2019, Brad Locke was the Market Manager at Simplot Grower Solutions. In that role, they partnered with the area manager to build a new go-to-market strategy and growth plan, and led the sales and marketing team to execute the strategic plan and achieve sales targets for seed, crop protection, specialty, and crop nutrition products. Brad was also a significant contributor to implementing and executing a strategy to increase EBIT by $8 million over two fiscal years. Additionally, they introduced adjacent product categories to increase cross-selling opportunities, managed relationships and grew sales with key accounts, and led successful capital projects that achieved objectives and completed on budget.

Brad Locke has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Houston and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from McMurry University in Accounting.

Brad Locke reports to Dave Holtom, CEO. They work with Brian Gunnell - CHRO, Gaven Gregory - VP of Retail, and Maxwell Tinsley - Director of Environmental Health & Safety.
