Lora Bognar, PhD, RN, APN, NE-BC, has extensive experience in nursing and professional development, currently serving as the Director of Nursing Professional Development and Simulation Center at Valley Health System since December 1997. Lora started as a new graduate nurse and has held various positions, including Advanced Practice Nurse and Clinical Shift Supervisor. In addition to overseeing the Nursing Professional Development Department and acting as a liaison with nursing schools, Lora is actively involved in the Magnet redesignation process. Since February 2022, Lora has also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member in the nursing program at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Lora holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Rutgers University - Newark, a Master's in Nursing Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
