Ken Ferris

Ken Ferris is the Co-Chair at Valleys Innovation Council, and has been with the company since 2016. Prior to that, they were with Roanoke - Blacksburg Technology Council from 2010 to 2016. Ken has also been a Member of Board of Directors at Interactive Achievement, Inc. from December 2010 to February 2016, and at Nomad Mobile Guides, Inc. from November 2010 to December 2017. In addition, they were the COO at Wireless MedCARE, LLC from May 2009 to January 2013. Ken's experience also includes Corporate Advisor at Luna Innovations from January 2008 to April 2009, and President Advanced Systems Division at Luna Innovations from January 2006 to December 2007. Prior to that, they were VP/GM Broadband Access at Carrier Access from August 2000 to March 2002. Ken has also been a Member of Board of Directors at International Alliance for Mercy from September 2014 to June 2020, and a Member of Advisory Board, Launch Place Seed Fund at Launch Place from February 2013 to June 2019. In addition, they were the President at Brookewood Management Advisors. Ken's experience also includes Partner & Manager at F&G Properties, LLC.

Ken Ferris earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
