Amber Meador

Amber Meador is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Accounting Manager at ValleyStar Credit Union since May 2019, with prior roles as Lead Accountant and Accountant II. Previously, Amber held the position of Tax Compliance Auditor for the City of Roanoke, VA, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance for city businesses. Before that, Amber worked at Member One Federal Credit Union, holding various positions including Internal Staff Auditor, Assistant Vice President of Accounting, Senior Account Representative, Senior Teller, and Member Service Representative, focusing on compliance, management of general ledgers, and customer service. Amber holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Averett University and is currently advancing education at Southeastern Regional Credit Union School.
